Bankruptcy & Debt Consolidation
If you have any debt, we can help you consolidate or negotiate them.
Whether it’s with banks, credit cards, cars, mortgages or personal loans, etc., it is safe to assume that most of us carry debt. Some carry debts so high, unfortunately, that they will never be able to pay them off.
Debts and the uncertainty of the law
The demand for excessive legal exactness, as the desire for too much predictability in law, is clearly unrealistic and should not be considered as an option. Too many times, the legal system is arbitrary and capricious.
Nevertheless, a bankruptcy case in the State of Israel must end between 18 to 54 months and it is not to be left to the Honorable Judge sitting on the bench whether he agrees or not to end the case – at most, after 54 months, the case will end and the debts will be pardoned.
Consider bankruptcy only if there is absolutely no other option of paying off your debts. However, after you do decide that this is your last chance to rebuild a new life in Israel, go for it as soon as you can — and do not wait for miracles.
